Casa Sultan

Casa Sultan is a spacious 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath home located in a beautiful private, quiet and secure cul-de-sac, yet an easy 15 minute walk into the central historic district. Casa Sultan was built by local artisans in the colonial architectural style including boveda ceilings, ladrillo brick floors, wall art niches and ironwork details. The sunny ground floor patio includes a built in BBQ, outdoor dining area and a 3-tier fountain. The top floor terrace includes spectacular views to the western Pichacos mountains and sunsets, and also City views to the the north and east including all of San Miguel's major churches.

San Miguel de Allende is famous for so many things, including its stunning Spanish baroque colonial architecture, vibrant arts scene, rich history (birthplace of Mexican Independence), and cosmopolitan culture, blending traditional Mexican charm with international influences, all set within a UNESCO World Heritage historic center known for cobblestone streets and colorful buildings like the pink Parroquia church. It's a top tourist destination known for its festivals, food, friendly atmosphere, and appeal to artists and expats.

There are many fascinating day trips in the surrounding area, which are easily accessible by taxi, uber or a hired driver. Some of our favorites include El Charco del Ingenio (beautiful nature preserve), La Canada de la Virgen (prehispanic archaeological site), Guanajuato City, La Gruta (hot springs), local wineries, and more. For an overnight excursion from San Miguel; Mexico City, Morelia, Puebla and other destinations are easily accessible by modern, direct bus service departing San Miguel every day.

Casa Sultan is located in convenient and quiet San Antonio neighborhood of San Miguel de Allende, 15 minutes walk from the central historic district. San Antonio is a wonderful, safe neighborhood with many shops, tiendas and restaurants.
